How did this come to fruition?
Around 3 years ago I did a bit of blogging but it just wasn’t me. I was trying desperately to emulate other online entrepreneurs and doing a pretty shit job of it to be fair…
This morning I was posting onto my social media about a current ‘must have product’ according to the beauty bloggers of this world and realised I should be making more of it- after all, isn’t word of mouth the best form of advertising?
I can’t promise this will be any better but now I plan on writing about what is currently on my radar and I’m loving. I think (and hope!) this should keep me authentic.
I’ll write about what I know and love and perhaps what I don’t- but I’m not about negativity… so maybe just what I love? We will see, this is a work in progress.
Oh, and why the name? Because I am a Unicorn- the shiniest fucking unicorn in the room to paraphrase one of my favourite quotes. My best friend actually came up with it because I wanted unicorns and rainbows and mermaids- all the important shit, something that really represented who I am as a person.
