I moved to the UK from Toronto, Canada when I was 26 and I’ve loved living here since. Apparently I still sound very Canadian but when I go home they tell me I sound British. I’ll let you decide, dear reader.

I am a hair and makeup artist

Based in the North West Midlands (Shropshire). I started working in the cosmetic industry when I was 18 and worked for many years on counters for companies such as Clarins, Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Arden.

I adore makeup and would say my style is more of a natural look; I am inspired by makeup artists such as Mary Greenwell (who I have trained with) and Hannah Martin.

My ethos

is that makeup should enhance our own unique and precious beauty, not make us a carbon copy of every Instagram #mua.

I trained as a hairdresser 11 years ago (Level 2 NVQ) but I primarily only do styling now as that is where my passion lays. 

Finally,

I sell a range of healthy ageing, vegan haircare and skincare products that perfectly compliment my work as a hair and makeup artist. (see more here)

I can turn my tongue into a 3 leaf clover shape

I broke my ankle at my wedding reception.
